Last week, we were invited out to Katowice, Poland to visit our partners Press Glass as they work on our bespoke glazing for our flagship Lamb Street, London project. We were delighted to be joined by our clients Volker Fitzpatrick, the Architects Foster + Partners and façade consultants Sandberg.
We organised the visit to the Press Glass factory to help us and the client to gain an insight into the process and quality assurance procedures that go into manufacturing the glazing for our projects – especially like Lamb Street where glass plays such an instrumental role in the building. This was a fantastic opportunity to build on our product and process knowledge, enabling us to enhance our service through developing a better understanding of the intricacies of the supply chain and ensure the client was completely satisfied with the glass. Following our factory tour, we headed to the Press Glass Head Office where we were treated to some wonderful hospitality, in the form of dinner with a backdrop of the Press Glass Golf Course.
We want to thank the team at Press Glass for being such wonderful hosts and for working extremely hard on providing the glazing for our Lamb Street project as well as many others. We can’t wait to travel out to Poland again in the near future and continue our great partnership!
