Customer success is at the heart of everything we do. To achieve that, we need to partner with industry leaders. The aim is to build close relationships because you see, sometimes life happens and adversity strikes. And whether in success or challenging seasons, dependable suppliers come in handy.
Enter United Anodisers.
So who are they?
Located in Huddersfield, United Anodisers was formed in 2007 from two companies — LHT anodisers and Heywood metal finishers. The company has been in the anodising industry for the last 40 years and is also the largest supplier of architectural finishes in Europe.
Equally important, United Anodisers has two manufacturing locations in Europe. In the UK, the facility has the ability to produce in excess of two million square metres annually in any one of 40 different colours.
Finally, some of the anodising projects they have worked on include the Leeds railway station and the Imperial college, London.
And in case you’re wondering...
Aluminium is an increasingly popular building material because it’s durable and has minimal maintenance. Most times, surface treatment is needed to enhance the metal’s natural qualities such as corrosion and abrasion resistance.
Enter anodising. This is a process that involves introducing a coating on the surface of aluminium as a decorative layer, or to improve wear and corrosion resistance.
And the best part?
The coating is UV resistant and is totally integrated into the metallic substrate. Also, anodised aluminium is 100 percent recyclable.
United Anodisers uses the Anolok process to provide a solid and high-end finish. In other words, the life cycle of anodised window panes, cladding or anything else is 60 years. But it doesn’t stop there. The company also offers a guarantee of at least 25 years.
And one more thing…
United Anodisers has ISO and Qualanod accreditations. “But who is Qualanod?” You ask. Qualanod is the quality label organization that maintains and promotes the quality of anodised aluminium parts used in architecture. Well, United Anodisers has been a member since Qualanod’s introduction in the UK in the 70’s.
A close relationship with United Anodisers has allowed us to understand the complex Anolok process. For instance, we understand where to jig to prevent ruining the anodising effect.
A smooth client experience.
